At 5:45 a.m. on March 20, 2019, an employee was adjusting the upper auto skid on Pipe Casting Machine 172 with an extension ratchet when it moved downhill and the core setter cylinder struck him. The employee amputated his left hand's middle finger and was hospitalized.
