Employee sustains multiple leg injuries in fall from PIV

At 7:33 a.m. on March 19, 2019, Employee #1, a temporary employee, was operating a powered industrial vehicle (PIV). The employee was following a coworker who was also on a PIV. As the employee turned slightly right then slightly left, following the marked aisle, he fell off of the PIV. Employee #1 sustained multiple injuries to his left leg and was hospitalized.
