Employee amputates finger while clearing jam in equipment

At 7:30 a.m. on January 16, 2019, Employee #1 was accessing the equipment to clear a jam. Upon clearing the jam, the cylinder completed the cycle and the technician's finger was caught between the transfer magazine and the guide, which amputated the top of his right ring finger. The employee was hospitalized.
