Employee slips and falls backward off metal roof and receive

At 10:00 a.m. on December 13, 2018, an employee climbed a ladder to access a roof to replace a vent cap on a fireplace vent. As the employee stepped onto the metal roof from the ladder, the employee slipped and fell backwards off the roof. The employee fell ten feet and hospitalized for a back fracture and lacerations to both hands.
