Employee incurs multiple injuries in fall from ladder

At 1:30 p.m. on December 11, 2018, Employee #1, employed by a painting company, was working on a multi-employer construction project, a two-story residential structure. He was outside on a ladder and taping a window in preparation for painting. The ladder, which was not properly secured, slipped, fell, and hit a porch railing. The employee fell, a fall height of approximately 14 feet, and then rolled down a hill. The employee was transported to the hospital, where he was admitted and treated for a laceration to the head, shoulder strain, and neck strain.
