Employee receives electric shock while troubleshooting light

At 1:00 p.m. on May 22, 2018, an employee was visually inspecting the ultraviolet lights under a top panel for a curing system and had asked a coworker to turn on the power to the lights. The employee lifted the panel that was on top of the machine by its handles and could not let go until he fell to the ground. The employee could not remember any specifics in between lifting the lid and falling to the ground. The employee did suffer second and third degree electrical burns to his arms and chest. The employee was hospitalized.
