Employee's fingertip is amputated by band saw blade

At 4:00 p.m. on November 28, 2017, Employee #1 was operating an automatic horizontal band saw. The bar stock raised up from the table after it was clamped. The employee reached in to push the bar stock down to the table, but his glove became caught in the running saw blade. The saw blade cut through his glove and amputated his left hand pointer fingertip.
