Employee's Knee Is Struck And Lacerated By Falling Forklift'

At approximately 2:45 p.m. on July 14, 2017, Employee #1 was working in the garage bay. He went to check damage on a forklift's hydraulic line. Employee #1 saw the hose pinched underneath the forklift's mast. He pulled out the coupling attachment. The mast fell approximately 11 in., striking and lacerating his knee. Employee #1 was transported to a medical center, where he received treatment on the knee laceration and was then hospitalized.
