Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:30 a.m. on June 26, 2017, an employee was catching pieces of wood on the receiving end of the Notcher Saw. The employee reached under the guard to get a board that was in the saw sideways and the employees hand was caught in the rotating cutting blade. The employee had four fingers amputated his on left hand for which he was hospitalized.
