Employee Amputates Fingertip On Moving Conveyor Belt In Runn

At approximately 10:45 p.m. on April 5, 2017, Employee #1 was cleaning around a running machine. She used a rag to clean the equipment. As she was cleaning, the rag was caught on a moving conveyor belt in the running machine. Her hand was pulled into the machine and the conveyor belt amputated her index fingertip. Employee #1 was transported to a medical center, where he received treatment and was then released.
