Employee struck by vehicle and is killed

At 11:15 p.m. on January 15, 2014, an employee was part of a four man crew performing electrical work in a manhole that was located in the grassy area. The employee went to the back of the truck area to connect a cord into a generator. An oncoming vehicle, swerved to miss a pedestrian and ran over the curb and into the grassy area where the truck was parked. The oncoming vehicle collided with the work truck, struck the employee, and pinned him between the two vehicles, causing his lower body to be separated from his upper body.
