Employee Is Killed When Struck by Train

At approximately 2:05 p.m. on April 23, 2013, Employee #1 was traveling alone off-site to evaluate water requirements for a potential customer driving a company vehicle. Employee #1 was stuck on the driver's side door by a train traveling approximately 45 mph. The railroad crossing had clearly visible crossing signs in addition to co-mounted stop signs. The employee was pronounced dead on the scene.
