Event: 01/17/2014
Grocery Store Worker Dies from Heart Attack

At approximately 12:15 p.m. on January 17, 2014 Employee #1, a 58-year-old male with Ralph's Food Inc., was speaking with a customer about grocery products and fainted. Employee #1 was helped to the ground by the customer. After helping Employee #1, the customer left the scene. The identity of the customer who assisted Employee #1 to the ground is unknown. Employee #1 was found on the floor near the meat cooler by a coworker. The coworker assisted Employee #1 by propping his head up. Employee #1 was unresponsive for fifteen minutes and had a faint pulse. EMS arrived on the scene at approximately 12:30 p.m. and worked on Employee #1 for fifteen minutes. Employee #1 was unresponsive despite efforts from EMS. EMS took Employee #1 to Kings Daughters Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Cardio-vascular and respiratory system failure were listed as cause of death.
