Skill Saw Kicked Back and Lacerated Solar Workers Hand

On September 30, 2013, Employee #1, a 38-year-old male with the Solar Company, was using a Skill Saw to cut breakers for Solar Roofing when the saw "kicked" back and lacerated his right index and middle fingers. OSHA investigated but determined that no amputation had occurred, just deep lacerations. Employee #1 was not hospitalized as a result and will suffer minor scarring from the event.
