Employee Suffers Possible Heart Attack and Dies

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on June 13, 2012, Employee #1, with Red Peryea Dba A-1 Construction & Remodeling, was coiling up his electrical cords in the garage. When he came out of the garage, he collapsed. Employee #1 was the last to leave to go home. Employee #1 was not found until the following morning when his two coworkers arrived to start the work day. Employee #1 had died. Later, an autopsy listed "Natural Causes-Heart Attack" as the cause of death. The employer did not meet the reporting requirements outlined in 342(a).
