Employee Amputates Finger While Using Band Saw

At 10:10 a.m. on February 11, 2012, Employee #1, a butcher in a supermarket, was cutting lamb shanks using a Hobart Band Saw, Model 5801. The meat slipped, resulting in the amputation of the index finger on the left hand. Employee #1 was not hospitalized.
