Investigation Summary
On November 8, 2010, Employee #1 was standing between a grape press and the wall of the building. Apparently a forklift was being used to transfer a load from the dumper and into a hopper. The load shifted and caused the press to move and crush Employee #1 between it and the wall. Employee 1's abdomen was apparently bruised and/or abraded, and he was hospitalized. The load was greater than the capacity of the forklift, and the front end attachment shifted the center of gravity.
