Investigation Summary
On September 15, 2009, an employee and a coworker were, ranch hands, were riding in the load box of a Kawasaki Mule ATV with their legs hanging down over the open tailgate. The coworker's hat blew off. The employee grabbed for it, lost his balance and fell off onto the ground. He sustained internal injuries and died in surgery the next day.
