Employee's Leg Is Fractured in Fall from Ladder

At approximately 8:20 a.m. on November 26, 2008, Employee #1 was working at a collision repair shop for a rental truck line. Employee #1 was standing on a 6-foot, A-frame ladder, while removing the hood of a truck for painting. The ladder tipped over and caused Employee #1 to fall. Employee #1 was hospitalized for more than 24 hours for treatment of a fractured right leg. The Division found the ladder to be in good condition at the time of inspection, and Employee #1 had received basic ladder safety training.
