Employee Fractures Back in Fall from Stepladder

On August 1, 2007, Employee #1 was trying to access a private office. The employer is a fast food restaurant. Employee #1 climbed on top of an eight foot stepladder, lost her balance, and fell to the floor. Employee #1 sustained fractures to her back and ribs and was hospitalized for six days.
