Employee Is Killed When Bin Box Falls Over

Employee #1 was walking towards the pecan shell hopper to empty the shells from the hopper into a dump truck. Employee #1 was on the north side of the hopper when a stack of four bin-boxes fell over. Each bin box was 48-in. square on the bottom and 54-in. high and weighed 250-lbs. Employee #1 was struck by one bin box and killed.
