Employee Is Injured When Crushed by Crane

On January 26, 2005, Employee #1, a truck driver, was unloading his tractor trailer truck. A coworker accidentally activated the incorrect lever on the crane control pendant, crushing Employee #1 between the load he was unloading and the front of his truck. Employee #1 was hospitalized and treated for a fractured back, collapsed lung, and a laceration on his head.
