Employee injured in fall from roof

Employee #1 fell from the steep slope roof at the southeast side of the school. The company stated that they had gained access to the roof from a remote corner, and walked over to the location of the accident. The roof conditions at that time were reported to be wet with dew, which was covering the roofing paper previously installed. A Lull lift was used to transport materials and safety equipment to the roof area, but due to the reach of the arm, it was 3 to 4 feet short. Employee #1 stepped onto the wet paper, and while reaching for the basket slipped on the roof, falling and striking the ground. Employee #1 suffered a fracture, but was not hospitalized.
