Employee's arm crushed in forging press

Employee #1 was setting up a Westbury 50 ton forging press. He had completed the die change when he accidentally hit the slant button and the machine cycled, jamming his right arm between the die block and the punch block. Employee #1 sustained crushing injuries from the elbow down, for which he was hospitalized.
