Employee fell from ladder and fractured both arms

At approximately 10:13 a.m. on October 2, 2002, Employee #1, of James Ashjian Lighting, Inc., was installing a light fixture at a private residence. He was working at the second or third rung from the top of a 12-ft-tall ladder snaking wire for a light fixture when he fell and fractured both wrists and sustained multiple fractures in both arms. Employee #1 was transported by the City of Fresno Fire Department to the Saint Agnes Medical Center where he was hospitalized for additional treatment.
