Employee Suffers Amputation Using Mixer

At approximately 8:45 a.m. on September 7, 2005, Employee #1, working for a plastering contractor, was sweeping the sand back into the unguarded mixing drum with his hand, when his hand got caught and was scraped by the mixing paddles. Employee #1 sustained finger amputations, but was not hospitalized.
