At approximately 5:50 a.m. on December 16, 1994, Employee #1 was found dead from a gunshot wound to his head and neck. Employee #1 was a desk clerk/night auditor at a motel in Galveston, TX, working the 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift. He was killed sometime between 11:30 p.m. on December 15 and 5:15 a.m. on December 16.
