Investigation Summary
Employee #1, a construction laborer, was on the roof of a two-story building, removing the backing from waterproof paper and laying it on the roof surface prior to installing metal flashing. He was near the edge of the roof when he fell 32 ft to the ground. He suffered multiple fractures, for which he was hospitalized. Employee #1 later stated that he had no memory of how he fell.
