Carpenter Falls from Elevation and Fractures Heel

At approximately 6:00 p.m. on July 23, 2002, a carpenter, employed by Cameron Construction, was framing a new home in South Lake Tahoe, CA. While the carpenter was finishing the wall connection, where a number of walls were going in various directions and slopes, he was nailing top plates. He lost his balance and fell from the wall, landing on his feet on the entryway floor. He was seriously injured when he fell from the second floor top plate, and was taken to Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe, CA. He was treated for a severely broken left heel.
