Boxboy shot in shoulder trying to stop robber

A security guard and a store clerk had just removed black (locked) boxes containing cash and were taking the boxes upstairs to count the money. The store clerk had gone upstairs first, and the security guard was behind him. The security guard had just closed the stairwell door behind him when the door opened, and an armed gunman demanded the money, which they both gave to him. The gunman began to leave the store through the door next to the stairwell. Employee #1, a boxboy, saw the robber carrying the money boxes out of the store and chased him. The robber turned around and shot Employee #1 in the shoulder, then fled the scene.
