Employee injured in fall from metal chute lip

Employee #1, of Refuse Compactor Service, Inc., was positioning a large metal chute on top of another one. While standing on a 2 in. lip of the first chute, Employee #1 was knocked 13 ft 6 in. to the concrete surface. He suffered head lacerations, a fractured right leg, and a fractured left kneecap.
