Employee Injured In Fall From Vehicle

Employee #1 had gone to check the water filters on the ranch water filtration system and had driven there on a large 4-wheel ATV. Upon completing the task, Employee #1 remounted the vehicle and put it into reverse. As Employee #1 started the engine and turned the wheel the ATV tires failed to "grip" the earth sufficiently since the ground area surrounding the water filtration system was quite muddy. The vehicle spun out of control and overturned. Employee #1 was trapped beneath the vehicle and remained there until discovered by another ranch employee. Employee #1 was hospitalized for bruises, contusions, and abrasions.
