Employee sustains multiple fractures in fall from bracing

Employee #1, of KBR Electric, Inc., was working inside the skeletal frame of an entry archway under construction. He was connecting wiring at a junction box while standing on 2 in. by 10 in. lumber bracing. Two of the braces gave way and he fell approximately 12 ft. He suffered fractures of the left eye socket, cheekbone, and both arms.
