Employee injured when struck by falling truss

On July 16, 1990, Employee #1, a carpenter for Paragon Development Enterprises, Inc., was helping set a wall in place. The wall had been fabricated on the floor of the building and was being raised and set in place with a crane. It had been raised only 3 to 4 inches above the floor when it became stuck. The wall suddenly broke free, shifted to one side, and struck a beam supporting some trusses. Eleven of the trusses were dislodged and fell. Employee #1 was injured when he was struck by one of the falling trusses.
