Investigation Summary
At approximately 1:05 p.m. on November 28, 1990, Employee #1, of Hannon Construction Company, Inc., went to help a coworker who was using a table saw to cut wood for a trellis fence. When Employee #1 took hold of the workpiece, his hand was seriously lacerated by the unguarded blade. He was hospitalized and underwent 5 1/2 hours of surgery on his injured hand.
