Employee killed when run over by tractor trailer

Employee #1 was helping her husband back a truck into loading dock #2 by communicating with him over a hand-held walkie-talkie. She was moving south, toward the north side of a Williams Trucking tractor trailer that was parked in loading dock #3. The Williams truck began to pull away from the loading dock, turning sharply south-southwest. According to witnesses, Employee #1 walked into an approximately 3 ft gap between the rear of the truck cab sleepover compartment and the right rear truck tires. She was run over and killed.
