Answer:

Outreach trainers are authorized for four years from the date that the trainer course is completed. To maintain authorization status, a trainer must successfully complete an update course every four years.

If the trainer does not successfully complete the update course within four years, the trainer must meet associated prerequisites and retake the full trainer course in order to reinstate authorization status.
