Abstract: The Department of Labor, in carrying out its responsibilities under the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C Chapter 35), considers comments on the reporting and recordkeeping requirements that will affect the public. Under review by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), OSHA lists the following new requirements and extensions. New: Control of Hazardous Energy Sources (Lockout/Tagout)(NPRM); on occassion; state and local governments; businesses or other for-profit; small businesses or organizations; 523,203; 1 hour. This information is needed by employers to enable them to provide specific control measures and documented procedures. Extension: OSHA and Migrant Housing Inspection/ Violations Report; OSHA 120.120A and 124;1218-0004; Quarterly; state and local governments; 16 responses; 480 hours; 3 forms. Requires each state having an approved plan to submit reports so that the Secretary may evaluate the manner in which each State is carrying out its responsibilities under the plan.
