Abstract:
Powered platforms for exterior building maintenance. Notice of
proposed rulemaking to revise part 1910, Subpart F-Powered
Platforms, manlifts, and Vehicle-Mounted Work Platforms by revising
1910.66, Powered Platforms for Exterior Building Maintenance. The
proposal would permit and regulate the use of alternative
stabilization systems involving intermittent and button guide
stabilization. The proposal would include requirements for employee
training and personal fall protection. Written comments and requests
for a hearing must be received by March 25, 1985.
