The grantee provided 3 to 10 hours of machinery and machine guarding hazards training including amputation prevention to maritime workers and employers in shipyards. Target audience included limited English proficiency and minority workers in high-hazard and high fatality rate industries. Grantee used existing training materials and developed new materials. Train-the-trainer training was offered in English and worker training was offered in English and Spanish.
