    4. Alliance Overview and Goals

      Through the alliance, ASSP and OSHA provide ASSP members and others with information and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers and understand the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act).

  2. Implementation Team Meetings

    • November 6, 2017

    The Alliance coordinators from both groups also maintained regular contact throughout the reporting period to monitor the Alliance's progress and results. In addition, as one of six organizing partners for the Safe + Sound Campaign, ASSP representatives participated in approximately 15 biweekly regular strategic planning and implementation meetings leading up to Safe + Sound Week 2018. In addition, ASSP staff participated in social media committee meetings to coordinate and develop social media communications for the Campaign.

    Dissemination: Alliance Program participant shared information on agency-developed or OSHA Alliance Program-developed tools and resources, OSHA standards/rulemakings, enforcement, and outreach campaigns.

  4. Alliance Developed Products

    As an organizing partner for the Safe + Sound Campaign, ASSP collaborated with OSHA in developing a toolkit to engage its member communities. This toolkit was the subject of a Town Hall webinar for ASSP members on May 7, 2018.
