Maritime Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (MACOSH)
MACOSH is a non-discretionary committee authorized by Section 7(d) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act) to provide advice to the Secretary in formulating maritime industry standards and regarding matters pertaining to the administration of the OSH Act related to the maritime industry. There are 15 representative members and one Special Agency Liaison (SAL), who is the Director of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP).

Highlights
- On December 3, 2024, OSHA will host a meeting of the Maritime Advisory Committee on Safety and Health (MACOSH). The meeting will be held virtually via WebEx. The Full Committee will meet from 9:00-10:30 AM (ET), and the workgroup meetings will follow from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM (ET). To attend, please register at:
