September is National Suicide Prevention Month. The construction industry has one of the highest suicide rates of any industry. That is why OSHA personnel and others united to create Construction Suicide Prevention Week, this year taking place September 8-12, to raise awareness about the high number of suicides in the industry and to provide resources to help save lives.

Septiembre es el Mes Nacional de Prevención del Suicidio. El sector de la construcción tiene una de las tasas de suicidio más altas de todos los sectores. Por eso, el personal de la OSHA y otras entidades se han unido para crear la Semana de Prevención del Suicidio en la Construcción, que este año se celebra del 8 al 12 de septiembre, con el fin de concienciar sobre el elevado número de suicidios en el sector y proporcionar recursos para ayudar a salvar vidas.
