      OSHA and AIHA are committed to providing AIHA members, safety and health professionals, and the public with information and resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers, and understand the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act).

  2. Implementation Team Meetings

    • November 6, 2017

    The Alliance coordinators from both groups also maintained regular contact throughout the reporting period to monitor the Alliance's progress and results. In addition, as one of six organizing partners for the Safe + Sound Campaign, AIHA representatives participated in approximately 15 bi-weekly regular strategic planning and implementation meetings leading up to Safe + Sound Week 2018. In addition, AIHA staff participated in social media committee meetings to coordinate and develop social media communications for the Campaign.

    Dissemination: Alliance Program participant shared information on agency-developed or OSHA Alliance Program-developed tools and resources, OSHA standards/rulemakings, enforcement, and outreach campaigns.
