Prentice Cline is Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health. Mr. Cline has been in this role since September 2026.

Mr. Cline brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role, having dedicated the past 28 years to OSHA. Throughout his career, he has served in both field and national office positions, including as a compliance safety and health officer, supervisor, area director, Director of OSHA’s Office of General Industry Safety, and most recently, Acting Deputy Director of the Directorate of Enforcement Programs.
