<<< Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL) Printing Instructions Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL) List of Test Standards Recognized - through 7/1/2009 The list below generally shows the test standard name (i.e., designation and title) in effect on the above “through” date. See OSHA’s informational web page for a particular NRTL to determine which of these standards fall within the NRTL’s scope of recognition. The names of the test standards shown in each of these informational web pages were in effect at the time OSHA recognized the NRTL for the particular standards. For convenience in compiling the list, we generally show the test standard name used by the standards developing organization (SDO). However, many of the test standards shown below are approved as American National Standards by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Under our procedures, an NRTL recognized for an ANSI-approved test standard may use either the latest proprietary version or the latest ANSI version of that standard, regardless of which version appears in its list of test standards under OSHA’s informational web page for the NRTL. You may contact ANSI to find out whether or not a test standard is currently ANSI-approved. Any parenthetical information shown at the end of a title only relates to the status of the standard on the above “through” date.
