    Employees used straight line hand-held grinders on a wide variety of castings. BEFORE Pneumatic hand grinders are used to finish parts, exerting strain on the wrists and arms due to the weight of the sander, vibration, and forces applied to grasp and utilize.

    90° grinders were purchased to gain greater access in the castings and the operators’ can maintain wrist and arms in a more neutral posture. AFTER Ergonomic sanders are lighter in weight, absorb some vibration, and have a more comfortable handle.
