Western Lake Superior Sanitary District's Dedication to Safety with Minnesota SHARP

  • In 2008, WLSSD became the first multi-site public employer to receive MNSHARP status.
  • WLSS reduced the Total Case Injury Rate (TCIR) by 55% and reduced the Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred (DART) Rate by 80% over an 18-year period.

 

U.S. Department of Labor, Northern Marianas Technical Institute, and CNMI-OSHA On-Site Consultation Program Collaborate for Second Annual Safety Conference

Residential Contractor Reduces Employee Exposure to Silica After Working with the Massachusetts On-Site Consultation Program

  • Small residential construction company that focuses on installing siding, roofing, skylights, gutters, replacement windows and more collaborated with Massachusetts On-Site Consultation Program.
  • Employees' exposures went from a maximum of 150 ug/m3 to below the laboratory's limit of detection (<LOD).

 

Tapped for Safety: Del-Co Water Ralph E. Scott Water Treatment Plant Joins the OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP)

  • They had their first On-Site Consultation visit in 2020.

  • Completed first Consultation visit in 2009.
