Alliance Overview
The Alliance focuses on minimizing the impact of pandemic incidences central to the OSHA-SLAO and PANDEMICPREP.ORG missions.

Not applicable. The members continued in sync as they worked on goals from the previous year.

Alliance Activity
- January 27 planning meeting for community outreach and bi-monthly programs
- March 29 planning meeting of public communications and a community survey of responses to the last influenza pandemic
- April 28 meeting for program review and future plans
- May through September, weekly planning meetings for the October Government employee seminar

- The pandemic preparation information provided continued to help the general public at large to be more prepared to reduce incidences during future influenza pandemics.

Upcoming Milestones
Through the Alliance, the parties will continue pursuing the reduction of incidences during influenza pandemics. Additional emphasis will still be placed on helping federal workers to be better prepared for a pandemic influenza. The current alliance agreement was scheduled to end on December 2, 2010; however, the parties have agreed to renew the agreement and the agreement has been drafted.
