ALLIANCE ANNUAL AND CLOSEOUT REPORT Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the December 10, 2007 I. Alliance Background Date Signed Originally signed October 10, 2003 and renewed December 6, 2006 Overview The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and The Centro de Apoyo, Recursos Y Oportunidades (CLARO) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful American workplaces. OSHA and the CLARO formed an Alliance to provide CLARO members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help protect them employees’ health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing occupational injury and illness to Hispanic workers. Activities OSHA and CLARO have worked together to achieve the following training and education goals:
December 6, 2006 – December 6, 2007 III. Alliance Action Plans CLARO’s Executive Director and Founder, Ms. Carrie Tyler, relocated to Columbia, MO, two months after renewing this Alliance. In her new position she attempted to establish another Alliance, however, her associates were not interested in pursuing the matter at this time. This Alliance is concluded as of December 6, 2007. |
